Christmas Week -December 2021
Well Christmas week is finally here and I have put my brushes and pallette
knives away until 2022. Every year I pick a painting to use for my Christmas card and this is the one for 2021. I really love this abstract and it was sold at Art Source, I was sorry to see it go but its like that with some paintings.
It has been a strange year for everyone but I am so lucky I just painted away as usual. I also attended my Art history classes in the IPAV on Monday evenings . This year we are studying Italian Renaissance so we are learning a lot about the Medici family and of course a lot of the art is based in Florence. We will hopefully be able to visit Florence next spring but of course that all depends on how things develop !
I had a very successful year selling my paintings, between Merrion Square and Art Source in the R.D.S. A big Thank you to all the lovely people who supported me this year and specially those who purchased my paintings. Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas and a Healthy and Prosperous New Year . Mary
