IPAV Art tour to Paris April 2024

Just back from an amazing trip to Paris with my fine arts group . We had 5 days visiting galleries and chateau’s , so much to see  in Paris . We went to the Picasso gallery and the highlight for me was the Musée D’Orsay where the Paris 1874 Inventing Impressionism was on, it’s 150 years since these paintings were shown for the first time . Monet, Degas, Ceyanne, Sisley, Pissarro to name just a few. I have photos up on my Instagram page of all the places we visited. We also went to Fontainbleau which was the home of several kings and Napoleon during his reign. The last day we went to Malmaison which was bought in 1799 by Josephine de Beauharnais , wife of Napoleon 1st. I could go on forever about all the fabulous places , here is a list of the other places where we visited. Musée des Arts decoratifs
